Subway

Obviously almost everyone has eaten at subway. The tiny town that I live in finally built one and I had never really eaten at subway that much until now. Subway is really good if your looking for fresh ingredients, good service, and a relaxing atmosphere. Hardly ever do you find that subway is too loud or an uncomfortable setting to be in. The best sandwich is the philly or the chicken bacon ranch. Try it!!

Pei Wei

So I am obviously a fan of chinese food, and this place is seriously the best. They do not have that large of a menu for selection purposes, but yet they have perfected the dishes that they do have. When you walk in you just choose what dish you want and pay for it right there up front. After that you just pick a seat and they will bring it out to you. They have a dish called Orange Peel and it is my favorite thing. I almost thought there was like additives in it because I physically felt like I needed it for like 2 weeks after. You should really just go  check this place out it is the best.

Davanzas- Park City

First of all, to get to this place you will need to drive up towards wal-mart and turn a right as if your going to taco bell. It is directly across the street from Taco Bell. This place is actually pretty well known for the locals and is relatively cheap to eat at. Their best dishes I think are their fries and their wings. They are seriously amazing and they also have really good fry sauce for people who love it.

The pro's and Con's of fast food

If you have ever been on a long drive, or just finished with something that was physically exerting, you need some quick food to regain some energy. Obviously you also want the most bang for your buck when it comes to calories and for most of us that means fast food. Now fast food is often criticized to a great extent because it supposedly makes you a fat and unhealthy person. Now for me, I do eat fast food. Quite often actually too because after something like a football game or a basketball game, I need some fast calories and fast food provides that for me. I am 6'1" and 170 pounds. I have been this way since I was 16 and I am currently 18 years old. I understand that my metabolism is pretty high still, but I am trying to make people understand that if you are an active person who exercises regularly, you are not going to get obese over eating some double cheeseburgers. On the other side though, if you don't move around much all day, or work in a 4x4 office space and rely on coffee and energy drinks to get you throughout the day, fast food most likely shouldn't be apart of your diet. If you are going to choose to eat some fast food regularly, then I strongly suggest that you establish an exercise plan. The way fast food is going to get to you the most, is if you eat it and then drink a 12 pack of soda or beer while sitting on the couch the rest of the night. Basically we all just need to BE ACTIVE!! Feel free to post any comments or opinions. HAVE A GOOD DAY! :)

Rodizio Brazilian Steakhouse

Ever joked around about eating at a buffet where they actually bring the food to you? Kind of like the lazy way of eating mass amounts without even having to move? Rodizio is that place. I had never really heard about this place until last year when my friends and I went there after a Jazz game. I was a little caught off guard by the steep price of 35.00 $ a person and thought if I was paying that much then I had better be eating of a gold plate. After we got situated and the servers started serving out the many different dishes that they have, I soon understood why it was 35 $ a person. The food is amazing and quite unique in some aspects. The chicken hearts look nasty but really aren't even that bad. If you go at the right time they have seasonal meats such as buffalo and some other wild game animals. This is definitely a place that you are going to want to check out in the future. 5/5 stars. Excellent place CHECK IT OUT!

Noodle and Co

So far I have just posted things for the meat eaters of the world. Some of the vegans probably would like to know where they can go eat and not have to scan the menu for the one item that doesn't contain meat. At the Noodle Co, you have quite the variety for all kinds of meat free dishes. They have house lo mein that has a creamy buttery texture to it that is surprisingly good. They have a bunch of different rice dishes that contain vegetables and they are also pretty good. Check it out!

Cold Stone Creamery

This is for all the ice cream lovers out there reading this blog. If you are looking for something that is rich, slightly unhealthy, and very tasteful, Cold Stone is your place. The ice cream there is literally amazing. There is a  Cold Stone in just about every large city. The one I go to is Park City which is located right next to the Redstone 8 cinemas. The store is well run by the owner Matt Bost. When you walk in you will most likely notice that the atmosphere isn't like your typical ice cream store. The first thing you should do is walk over and see just how many flavors they have. This usually overwhelms people and makes it so that they cannot decide what they want without trying at least 3-4 samples first. After your taste buds decide on what they are looking for  then you can choose some candy or fresh fruit to mix into it. This process is really cool because the "stone" that they use is a slab of granite that is chilled down to at least 4 degrees keeping the ice cream cold as they are creating your perfect mix. Depending on the skill level of the mixer this can be very cool to watch and they might even throw it for you if they are good enough to do it. They work hard for tips so be sure to put some money in the tip jar and they might even sing for you. Go check it out!

Wing Nutz

Recently I went to a place called Wing Nutz. There is one currently located near me in Park City by Papa Johns. When I went in there I noticed the bar like setting that it has but yet there is like 12 T.V's. When I picked up the menu I was actually a little suprised by the amount of different sauces that they have. There is at least 20 different flavors and when I was asking about the wings in general I learned that they actually bake them instead of frying them to give them a more clean feel to them instead of the grease. I had the traditional buffalo because in my mind I think that if they cant perfect the original sauce then the other ones are going to suffer. It was definately worth the money and is a place to visit. Check it out! 4/5

Szechwan Park City Utah

Been looking for some good chinese food? The other day I was working and a co-worker of mine told me to order some takeout for us. I went to this chinese place called Szechwan. Something you will instantly notice when you walk in is how dimly lit the place it. It is actually a quiet, relaxing environment for people to eat at. Even though the place was full of people, It was still pretty quiet. Their best dishes are their Sweet and Sour chicken and there General Tao's chicken. The General Tao's has a little kick to it so if you can't tolerate any spicy then I would avoid it. It is definately the best place in Park City to get chinese food. I would give it a 4/5 star :) Enjoy

The Melting Pot

Been wanting to get out and try something different but somewhat exciting? I have experienced a restaurant that is indeed both of those things. It is called the Melting Pot. I went to the Melting Pot with a date last year having no idea what to expect. From what I read on the website it is indeed slightly formal and the better dressed you the better for public image. We sat down in what is basically a both with a boiling pot in the center of it. The host offered a couples price to us which was around 100 dollars. It was a special occasion, otherwise I do not think we would have gone through with it. It is a 3 course meal that starts out with you picking what cheese you want and what meats you want. After you pick what you are wanting to be served, they will bring out your cheese's and starting the melting process. Soon you will be able to dip your breads, meats, and even meats if you choose into it. It is a very fun experience and is indeed worth it. Easily in my opinion 4.5/5 stars. Something you may also want to try is the chocolate pot that they have. IT IS AMAZING!

Red Rock Park City UT

Red Rock

So to just give everyone an idea who might be reading these in the future, I am going to be blogging about a bunch of different restaurants that I have eaten at and kinda give you an idea if they are worth your time or not.

Firstly, Red Rock is a very convenient place to get to. It is located right across the street from the Red Stone 8 theatre. When you first go into Red Rock you will probably notice that it is a very lively place. Meaning if you are out on a family dinner and don't really want loud noise in the background then this is probably not the place for you already. I went in there after work about 2 weeks ago with a friend. We sat down and observed the menu and noticed that they actually do have a wide variety of food on it. The food ranges from your American hamburgers and steak's to your Italian pizza's and gourmet pasta's. For some weird reason I decided that I was in the mood for wings. Before I get into that I just want to forwarn everyone that they will offer you their Red Rock homemade rootbeer or creamsoda. It tastes like crap if you ask me and I would strongly advise to either not get it or to have a backup drink nearby. So as I looked at the wings it stated that they were just a traditional buffalo sauce. They also happened to be about 11.00 for 12 wings which is not a very good deal. I ordered them anyway and when they came out and I started eating them I wanted to throw up. They literally tasted like they had just been microwaved because they were not fully cooked and tasted like rubber with sauce on it. I am not totally sure about their other food besides the pizza which is actually pretty good. I feel like this eating establishment is a gamble on a night to night basis and is definately not 5 star by any means. Give it a try!
